We will require that you have an active USGA Handicap Index to compete on our product.
What is a Handicap?
A Handicap Index® is a numerical measure of a golfer's demonstrated ability which is used to enable players of varying abilities to compete against one another on an equal playing field. Better players are those with the lowest handicaps.
Why it matters
All golfers are not created equal but with the World Handicap System™, all golfers can compete on a fair and equitable basis. Many competitive events require that all players keep an active handicap to participate. Keeping an active handicap is the best way to track your personal progress and gain insights into the trajectory of your game.
Why are they required?
We understand that not every golfer keeps a USGA Handicap Index so here’s why we’ve made this decision:
You’ll be playing for real money on our product. We want to ensure you’re always competing in a game that is fair & equitable. This also enables us to calculate Course Handicaps™ on your behalf, removing the pre-round hassles of coordinating your games.
Keeping your handicap up-to-date can be a pain in the ass, so we’ve simplified that process. Your scores will be automatically posted on your behalf when completing a game with us.
Where can I Get one?
You can sign up for a USGA Handicap Index in a matter of minutes. This is a great option for players looking to establish a Handicap Index for the very first time.
